Dale's Birthday at school and Pumpkin Patch

Dale had cupcakes at school and they played heads up seven up.Then yesterday I went to the Pumpkin Patch with his class.My camera battries died before we got our pumpkins so I don't have a picture of him picking it out of the field.

Sewing for Dale's Birthday gift.

Brian wanted to make Dale some cowboy chaps for b-day.We borrowed these purple ones from some friends to use as a pattern.Then we made a newspaper pattern,cut out matterial.Then I proceded to make these cool chaps for our Birthday boy ,which his b-day is tommorrow.

More baby quilts

Just some more pictures of the quilts,some are reiving blankets, some fuzzy blankets.Most all material has been purchased in the remant bin at wal-mart.This monkey one is really one of my favorite.Receiving blankets .I love this froggie blanket , had extra matrial so made receiving blanket to go with it.

Baby Quilts

One thing I have always loved to make is baby quilts.I don't acually quilt very many of them ,I like to tie them.I like to make them and give them to friends and family and sisters .Some of these I have made now I plan to keep for myself. this one I sent to Sis.Cheri and Br.Lee for new baby.I like this one.This one was sent to Sis.Cynthia in Eugene for her new little one.I really like this one.

Birthday Month

So I thought it would be nice to send Birthday cards to everyone in mine and Brian's emidiate family.Well I might have picked the wrong month to start doning this as the month of October has 10 kids b-days ,and 5 adults b-days .That is quit a few b-days don't you think. We tryied to pick out cards that were cheap but still cute .Then the really little kids I got some stickers to put in their cards .So here is pictures of some of the cards ,6 of them have already been mailed off.

Random Acts Of Kindness.

So I wanted to take some pictures of the baby quilts I have been making but all our rechargable batteries are dead and my camera won't turn on.LOL .Will try to do that later today..

I n the newspaper today there was an article called Random tales of kindness on the web. It told about a women that thought it was so wonderful when someone she didn't even know did something nice for her .She started a web site called OperationNice.com it also told about some other sites to ,one is called Actsofkindness.org ..... There is some really neat tales on here and some downloadables ...like little notes and cards and posters about kindness. I just thought it was a nice little thing and it had some nice tales of things people did for others that they didn't even know. I want totry doing some of these thing with out even thinking about it. It was just a neat places to look at ...so i wanted to post it.

No new post

Well as for something to post I can't find it .So instead I just keep looking at everyone else going "sure wish someone would post ".Maybe something fun will happen on the weekend and we will all have something to post about.

Thing to do to make me a happier person.

1. Listen to music all day of the brethern and or gospel to uplift me. ( I love listening to Sis.Chantels music that is on her blog ,sometimes I will just get on her blog and turn up the music.)

2. Think of all the wonderful things in life that I and my family do have ,that some don't.

3.Think of the ones who need our prayers and try to pray anytime I think of them during the day.

4.Just praise god that we are all healthy and able to go about from day today!

Wishing for More.

As most of you know we live in avery small assembly .We have 24 people in the whole assembly and only ten of them are in the faith,that makes for alot of little kids.We don't have very much visiting brethern in ,sometimes we can go months at a time with no one come to visit for meeting or anything.

It seems like lately people make it to church when they can ,but it's as if they didn't have anything else to do.Like kids sports,work,school tomorrow,someone wanting to look at something they have for sale ,or just to tired to make it ....ectra.

Then it makes are meetings even slower and more depressing when no one is there.So very little happening at church as it is.Last night we went it was our family of 8 and Sis. Sheila and 3 of her kids.Brian prayer and we sang 4 songs.I looked in the song book and really tried to talk to god but I was feeling really down about being in this place.People pretty much do their onw thing during the week.Most people you never see except at church ,if they make it there.We try to go visiting once or twice a week.Or have someone over .It is hard to do when everyone has other thing to do and are not at home.

It makes me want to be able to move some where else so bad. I feel so out of the loop of peoples lives.I was reading on 2 of the sisters blogs late last night and early this morning and heard about a sister that had had her baby .I usumed that it must have just been born and no one had let us know yet,come to find out it was born Tuseday morning.She lives in an assembly very close by and I thought some one would tell us about it. I guess you could say I am just alittle down right now. .Please pray for me that I could be more up lifted and happy in this life where we are for now.
