Bomb Scare

So our kids go to school in this little town called Culver .Nothing ever really happens there and it is a good school .All 3 schools high, middle and elementry are all on the same campus in one big block. So yesterday when the kids got to school they were told there was a note taped to the front door of the elemntry doors saying there was abomb that would go off sometime between tuesday and friday. The school sent the kids to a nearby church until 9:30 while the school was checked out by the police and athorauties. They brought home a note telling about it.

Then this morning I went back to bed after they left for school and at 7:35 when Tyrel got to school they found out that there was another note and a box in front of the school and it said this is the first of 3 packages to be delivered .School was canceled and Tyrel was calling home on a friends cell phone to say they were on their way back home. The bomb squad from Salem was called in and the school was searched and it has been determined it was a hoax .There is a reward being offered for information on this bomb scare.

Yikes! Isn't it crazy that we never think that kind of stuff will happen where we live? I can't imagine how scary that must feel. I will pray for yoru kids' safety. It sounds like someone is playing a stupid prank, but it is better to be safe than sorry. They need some video cameras set up around that school. That may help catch whoever is doing that. Love ya, hope you are all doing good.

Sis. Julie should tell the school officials/law enforcement about the video cameras, and get $500 since it would lead to the arrest of the culprit(s). That is so scary! I'm glad it's not going on here. Are your kids staying home from school?

I hope you get to feeling better soon.

You never know if something like this is a cry for help or just someone wanting to get out of going to school. Just kidding. I hope they can find out who did it and get them the help they need.

Glad it was just a hoax. But that is scary.

Can't believe that. Hope you are still well.

P.S. The "nothing ever really happens" reminds me of that "I can read" book Hill Of Fire. There once was a farmer... "Nothing ever happens," he would say. The people of the town... LOL.

Wow! I hadn't heard about this yet! Did they ever catch the person responsible? It was probably a prank, but a scary one; and whoever did it can be in big trouble over it.
